FreePBX 15 EOL: Upgrade to v17 for $699 (Flat Rate, <100 Phones)

Image

FreePBX 15 support ends on September 1, 2025. Don’t get stuck on an outdated, potentially vulnerable system. For a limited time, Crosstalk Solutions will migrate your PBX to FreePBX 17 for a flat $699 — no hourly billing, no surprises.

We can migrate to your own hardware or our hosted PBX, but we highly recommend our Crosstalk PBX systems for the best performance, long-term support, and rock-solid reliability.

This promotion applies to systems with fewer than 100 registered phones. Larger systems are welcome — we’ll still give you a great price — but they require a custom quote.

Why act now?

  • EOL = no more patches. Staying on v15 risks stability and security.

  • v17 requires a new OS. This is a migration, not an in-place update — perfect time to modernize.

  • Best results with Crosstalk PBX. Pre-tested, purpose-built hardware makes migration and support faster and smoother.

  • Protect your investment. Pair your new system with a Crosstalk PBX Maintenance Plan for ongoing OS/FreePBX updates, proactive monitoring, and priority support — and with our Premium plan, your next major FreePBX upgrade is included.

  • Limited-time pricing. The $699 promo is available through September 30, 2025 to Crosstalk Solutions customers.

What’s included (flat-rate)

  • Migration of core FreePBX configuration for PBX systems with fewer than 100 registered phones

  • Move to Crosstalk PBX hardware, customer-provided hardware, or a Crosstalk-hosted PBX (hosting fees separate)

  • Secure backup/restore workflow and scheduled cutover window

  • Basic endpoint re-registration guidance (we’ll help point phones to the new system)

Not included (available at additional cost)

  • Systems with 100 or more phones (custom pricing applies)

  • FOP2 (Flash Operator Panel 2) migration or licenses

  • Custom scripting, non-vanilla hacks, or bespoke modules

  • Commercial module purchases/licenses, carrier changes, SBCs, or complex NAT/firewall redesigns

  • On-site work (this offer is remote)

How it works

1. Quick discovery call – confirm scope, gather access, pick target (hardware or hosted).

2. Pre-flight backup – safe snapshot of your current v15 system.

3. Build & restore – we stage v17 on new OS, restore configs, and validate.

4. Cutover – planned maintenance window; we minimize disruption and verify calling.

5. Post-migration check – sanity tests, user sign-off, and short stabilization period.

FAQ

Why can’t I just upgrade in place?
FreePBX 17 requires a new base operating system. That means full migration, not an in-place upgrade.

Will there be downtime?
There will be a brief cutover window. We schedule it with you to minimize impact and keep phones happy.

Can you move us to the cloud?
Yes — our hosted PBX option is supported (separate monthly hosting applies).

What about my desk phones?
We’ll help you re-register phones to the new system and provide guidance for provisioning.

Do you move call recordings and CDR?
We migrate core configuration. If you want large historical data (e.g., long-term recordings) moved, we’ll scope that as an add-on.

14) Acceptance

  • Scheduling and payment constitute acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
